KNOWLEDGE AND MOTIVATION OF TWO FLYING WINGS

The further we went in the past fourteen weeks, the more I became convinced that my excitement was not without reason.

I'm one of those people who finds it attractive to even see strangers on the street and talk to

them.

Now imagine how fascinating it can be to listen to people. I have a lot in common with the success story.

During this semester, I met many successful people in the seminar course and listening to each of them was a wonderful experience for me.

But one of the people I was very interested in meeting was a 24-year-old girl who, at a young age, had two degrees, one in political science and one in digital media marketing. Her name was Danielle Humilde. She inspired me, and I followed her on LinkedIn to learn more about her career success. Especially after Danielle's speech. What I learned from Her was perseverance, patience and using all the knowledge in digital marketing.

Before this semester started, I thought I wanted to work for a big company, but now I am more confident and eager to start my own company, and I consider this a choice in my future career.

But the most important thing that all the speakers agreed on was the importance of networking, a regular schedule and perseverance. Or as we say in a Persian proverb: "Kare Nikoo Kardan Az Por Kardan Ast," which means Practice makes perfect.

In my adventure from the beginning of the semester, I followed George Brown's college students and professors on LinkedIn and the human resource managers of several companies, and I contacted them and announced my readiness to work with them.

I attended several events like interactive webinars. I learned a lot, and it was a good experience, one of these webinar titles was "Start your branded store" it was a knowledge-sharing type webinar, and as I told before, I love to hear people's experiences.

I joined several digital media marketing chapters and talked about my experiences. I met a friend who sent me a page of some Opening jobs in one of these groups.

So, I went to several interviews with several companies and gained good experience for job interviews; here are some considerations to get ready for job interviews.

  • Research the industry and company.

  • Clarify your "selling points" and the reasons why you want the job.

  • Anticipate the interviewer's concerns and reservations.

  • Prepare for common interview questions.

  • Line up your questions for the interviewer.

  • Practice, practice, practice

Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to do volunteer work during this period, so I cannot give you any experience.

I checked the job sources of George Brown Carrier and LinkedIn. I got acquainted with "ARAZ IT solutions Inc." through LinkedIn and Instagram, "ARAZ" is involved in digital media marketing & fortunately, I was lucky and was able to get my internship letter with the title of Social Media Account Manager for 40 hours from this company. I am very excited to start my work on January 10th, and let's see what happens.

Having a good network of friends can always keep a lot of opportunities open for us. But how can this network of friends be maintained? Indeed, the answer is to maintain a two-way relationship and pay attention to an optimized profile.

  • Share valuable articles and content

  • comment on shared content

  • try to be proactive

As I mentioned, my acquaintance with ARAZ IT solutions Inc. was through a friend I met at a webinar. If you ask me if participating in webinars is helpful for career development, I will say yes. Do it and start now. It's free, and you can target to work with companies you want. If you are familiar with marketing concepts, you are undoubtedly aware of the benefits of an available target market.

In this situation, real marketers do not waste time and try to expand their relationships with others through minor loopholes. We can create business connections, access job opportunities, and get new ideas and befits lists with networking.

In conclusion, I believe that being present and active in a network of friends, whether through social media or in reality, if appropriately managed, along with hard work and positive results, can be an essential tool for progress in marketing.

Finally, I will tell you some practices that were useful for me:

  • Don't be afraid to Explore LinkedIn Groups.

  • Use visual content to gain attention.

  • Keep your profile updated

  • Ask for Professional Recommendations

  • Optimize your page

  • Be open to Conversations

  • Do not be afraid to comment, and you may see the issue from a different perspective

  • Join Relevant Groups and Contribute Frequently
